Youth
Boy’s Singles
The standard of youth darts continues to lift
after watching the Youth Boy’s World Cup
Singles. Netherlands Jonny Nijs was simply red
hot when he defeated England’s Ross Smith
3 – 1.
Nijs opened up winning the first leg
in 15-darts, which included a 180 with his second
shot against the darts. He won the second leg to
take a 2 – 0 lead.
Smith was away in the
third leg winning in 17-darts with a 60 finish
in two darts to stay in the final. Both players
started with 140’s in the fourth leg, but
one poor shot by Smith gave Nijs the advantage
he needed to win the leg finishing on 60 to become
World Youth Champion.
Finals Averages:
