Youth Boy’s Singles

The standard of youth darts continues to lift after watching the Youth Boy’s World Cup Singles. Netherlands Jonny Nijs was simply red hot when he defeated England’s Ross Smith
3 – 1.

Nijs opened up winning the first leg in 15-darts, which included a 180 with his second shot against the darts. He won the second leg to take a 2 – 0 lead.

Smith was away in the third leg winning in 17-darts with a 60 finish in two darts to stay in the final. Both players started with 140’s in the fourth leg, but one poor shot by Smith gave Nijs the advantage he needed to win the leg finishing on 60 to become World Youth Champion.

Netherlands - Jonny Nijs 25.51

England - Ross Smith 25.0
