Sydney is proud to host the XIV Australian Deaf Games, the Games with a Difference from 11th to 20th April 2003. It will be the Games of many 'firsts', beginning with the unique opportunity for Deaf Sports Australia athletes to qualify for the Australian Deaf Sports Squad for the Deaflympic Games to be held in Melbourne in 2005, the first time that the Deaflympic Games will have been held in Australia.
The Games will also see the exciting integration of the Deaf Cultural Festival. This is a new initiative to see what Deaf people can do for the World! The Festival Organisers promise an "exciting foray into the Deaf World" with many opportunities to delve into Deaf History, Culture and language. This will be a wonderful experience not to be missed.

See you in Sydney in April 2003!
