Players enjoyed the Opening Ceremony Friday night to open the eight days of competition. The ‘Parade of Flags’ saw local Canberra Player Anthony Fleet given the honour of carrying the Darts Federation of Australia flag into the venue. Kathleen Logue (pictured below) from Tennant Creek in the Northern Territory and Australia’s latest World Champion carried the Australian flag to parade in to the Ceremony in front of a large crowd in attendance.

It was great to see Jan McMenamin in attendance, wife of passed Darts Federation of Australian and World Darts Federation President Peter McMenamin. (Pictured below with from the right ACTDC President Andrew Little, DFA Secretary Phil Wyatt and DFA President Allan Hutchinson)
