Champions on Target |
| Defending Champions
Queensland are on target to defend the Australian Men’s Teams
Championships at the Chan Building in Darwin at 24th Puma Australian
Darts Championships.
Three rounds of competition have
been completed with Queensland and New South Wales the only two teams
that have not lost a match so far. Queensland have victories over VIC,
TAS and NT, while NSW have won all their matches against NT, SA and VIC.
In the ladies competition New South Wales are defending Champions, but they are under extreme pressure already having lost their second round match to South Australia and their round match to Victoria which nearly put them out of the race. Tomorrow they play the strongly performing teams in WA, QLD and TAS, so they will need to be at their best if they are to retain their title. Western Australia ladies have always been very strong in this event and look to be in top form again this year with victories already over the ACT , TAS and VIC.. Competition continues tomorrow at the Chan Building in Darwin starting at 10.00am.with the final three rounds of the Teams Competition. |
