Kerry JAcobsDear All,

Today I went into the North Shore Hospital and saw Kez. I stayed and talked to her for a little while and gave her hugs and best wishes from us all.

Kez was unable to respond either in sound or any form of recognition of me but I am sure that some where deep inside her I think maybe she heard my words of encouragement.

After a discussion with her nurse I discovered that Kez has had a brain aneurism, which was fully repaired and after ten days of recovery she suffered seizures, which has affected her recovery process.

The out come is not defined and probably won’t be for many many months. The Hospital took her off the intensive care list today and upon my leaving she was again satisfactory, this in no way means Kez is out of the woods yet.

This just means that she needs our prayers and thoughts, as does Graham. Kez is being assisted to breath she has only moments of consciousness and apparently has trouble following simple commands in this state.

Kez has lost partial brain function still unsure of to what extent and probably wont be known for sometime in the future.

To add insult to Kez and Grahams pain Kez has also got a staph infection.

So my request to you all is that every dart player around Australia has at some time come across the one and only Kerry Slatterry-Jacobs, please if you could remember her in your thoughts and wishes maybe we will have a chance of getting both her and Graham through this.

I for one have been extremely lucky to be able to count this woman as a friend.

Kez is at the Royal North shore room 7B.

Hope this finds you all well.

Hugs to you all
